According to the United Nations in 2016, there are over 800 million people below the poverty line (under $1.90 per capita a day). This is over 10% of the world population. The wealthiest and the middle class account for 24%. For 76% of the world population the monthly cost of the Internet is a substantial amount. And it goes without saying that almost everyone would welcome some additional sources of revenue.

How The Wi-Fi World Works

World Wi-Fi is a block-based distributed platform for users and advertisers. There are three main components in this chain. Guest users, someone connected to a network access point can use the Internet for free after watching the ad. The owner of the router provides access to an open network and connects guest users to generate revenue. Advertisers broadcast ads to their target audience and pay to the owner of the router. When connected to the system, the router creates one network and gives it to the guest. Because they are separate from the home network at the software level, routers connected to the network can not access the main router network router's computer.

The router owner can set parameters that correspond to the public network (speed, maximum number of connections, number of ads viewed, etc.). When connected to a guest network, guest users can see the ads they're interested in. The router owner's revenue depends on the user and the number of ads shown. The World Wi-Fi platform analyzes location, social media profiles, search history, and other parameters necessary for behavioral targeting. If there are signs of high-yielding visitors on this network, more tokens will be issued, resulting in more ad impressions that can hurt advertisers effectively.
